Accommodation

Accommodation is available at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig.  If we cannot accommodate everyone on campus we can arrange alternative B & B nearby.

All rooms have en suite facilities.  There is also a fridge and microwave oven.  There is no extra charge for single rooms.  Twin rooms are in short supply, so please make sure that you book early if you require one.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please tell us in advance so that we can allocate a room for you in the appropriate part of the campus.

The college staff are happy for people attending the Island Fling to bring their own tents or caravans, and they kindly allow us to use the showers and laundry facilities provided on campus.

Food

The food during the weekend is wonderful!  Be prepared to put on weight!

You can start the day with a full Scottish breakfast, and/or have as much cereal and toast as you like.  At morning and afternoon breaks coffee and home-baked cakes are provided.  Evening meals consist of 3 courses, and lunches of 2.  The Saturday evening buffet is the stuff of which legends are made!

Soft drinks are available during workshops and mealtimes, but if you want alcohol you must buy and bring your own.  (There is a bar in the evenings, but no off-licence nearby.)

All meals have vegetarian (but not necessarily vegan) and gluten-free options, but please let us know if you have any other special needs and we shall do our best to accommodate you.
