The Northbeat Reel Dancers are a group of Old Time, Ceilidh and Country Dance enthusiasts from all over Scotland who come together to dance whenever the occasion arises. Many of the group were originally in Karin Ingram’s dance class at the Riverside Club in Glasgow. Others dance regularly in the Borders, or in Edinburgh. They all have one thing in common – they feel that dancing should be fun!! Wherever they perform they encourage others to join in. The Northbeat Reel Dancers can be booked through Northbeat and are available as a small or large group, with or without musicians for any event.
Also available for events are "Papa & the Stours", a team who perform part of the ancient sword dance of Papa Stour in the Shetland Islands. |
