The Venue
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig (The great barn of Ostaig, also known as the Gaelic
College) is in Sleat, at the south end of the Isle of Skye. It is situated
on both sides of the A851, north of the ferry terminal at Armadale. The
Clan Donald Centre (venue for the Saturday evening dance) is also on the A851,
between Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and Armadale.
Workshops, meals and accommodation will be in both the original buildings and
the newer complex (Arainn Chaluim Cille) across the road.
How to Get There
Road
The Skye Bridge (Kyle of Lochalsh to Kyleakin) is a toll
bridge. Single crossing for vehicle: £5.70. Block booking rates are available for the Island Fling
and are included in the Gold and Silver packages.
